The ballroom of the current Park Inn Hotel was originally Wright's City National Bank.
Metal grill work that originally contributed to the bank's "strong box" look has been replaced over the clerestory windows. About half of the grills were discovered serving as a fence at a Clear Lake, Iowa home.
